My Treatment.

For many years Derek, a teenage boy, has had a crush on Ashley during their years of school together. At the age of 16, going into college, he gets the courage to her out on a date. At his locker, he stares in gaze at several of the images of Ashley he has in the door of his locker. He discovers that she is just a few lockers down from his so decides this is the time, as she is by herself, to ask her the all important question. He goes and asks her “what you doing Friday?” she politely rejects him leaving him heartbroken.

As he walks away, all of Ashley’s friends; Brad, Sasha and Jay run up to her and start to laugh and joke at the fact Derek had asked her on a date. As the shattered Derek walks away, he overhears all of Ashley’s friends laughing and his heartbreak turns into anger.

After school Ashley and her friends decide to stay and do a bit of revision for their exam next week. Jay leaves to go to the toilet, however a period of time has passed since Jay had left... so Sasha goes to look for him. As it is after school and lessons have ended, Sasha is surrounded by the empty, cold and dark corridors of the school. She hears someone call her name; this makes her panic and turns around to find no one there. She hears a door slam behind her so she starts to walk faster calling Jays name repeatedly. She then starts to run down the corridor as if someone was chasing her… but still no one is there!

Back at the study room, Brad is wondering where everyone has gone. He leaves the study room to go find his friends. Brad walks passed the bathroom to hear Jay shouting “Help”. He tries to open the door but it is locked. Jay is shouting frantically at Brad to go get someone, but Brad doesn’t understand why Jay is in so much fear. Brad runs to go find someone with a key. Brad ends up thinking of himself and runs towards the gates of the school for freedom but to find the killer standing at the gates waiting for him!

Elsewhere, we find Jay who was locked in the bathroom, managed to escape through the window, however is trapped in the school grounds. He phones Ashley to let her know what has happened, and feels something my happen to her; he reveals to her that he was locked in the bathroom and written in blood on the mirror was “I Heart Ashley”. Jay warns Ashley to get away as soon as possible and her life may be in danger, he says that it may be Derek wanting to get back at her for rejecting him. Jay tries to phone the police to alert them, however as he is just about to ring, his battery goes dead! Jay with nowhere to go enters back into the school to try and find Sasha whom he believes is still alive. As he walks down the corridor, he is in shock to find Sasha hanging by rope, covered and dripping in blood. He feels so weak from seeing this image, he falls to his knees. From his point of view, from crouching down, a figure in black shoes walks around the corner. A knife is then seen brandished with blood and the killer strangles Jay and leaves him hanging next to Sasha.

Back at the study room, Ashley is alone and isolated, she starts to get scared and hears creeks in the corridor, she gets up and peeps her head around the door and shouts “Hello…is anybody there?” but no one answers. As she walks further down the corridor, she hears a door slam; she jumps and starts to shake. Ashley shouts again and still no one answers.  She walks slowly down the corridor and still shaking, into a dark room with the light flickering, to find 3 bodies laying flat on the floor with a white sheet covering them. She crouches down and lifts the sheet off their feet in horror she find its Jay, Brad and Sasha’s dead bodies, covered head to toe in blood. All of a sudden the door behind her is heard being closed she jumps and shakes… she can feel the presence of a person behind her and suddenly she hears the villain whisper “Ashley”. She turns around to see a shadow hiding behind a cupboard. She shouts and curses as to why he has done this. She starts to walk backwards slowly but the villain sees that she is moving, he walks towards her, as the light is flickering it is hard to see who it is. She starts screaming shouting help repeatedly, and then Ashley is backed into a corner, she starts to slide down the wall and carefully feels around on the floor to find a hammer, she picks it up without him noticing - as the villain talks to her about what he had done to all her friends - when abruptly Ashley hits the villain over the head and knocks him out, revealing the killer to be Dexter!          

I have highlighted key words in red to indicate that they are emotions – these are emotions that are commonly used and shown throughout a horror movie. I have also highlighted key words in green which are paradigms of a horror movie and I have highlighted them to show that we have used them throughout our treatment of our horror movie.
