We looked around at more horror music and came across the theme song from 28 weeks later, we listened to it and thought that we could use this music instead of the Scream theme song. We edited it with our trailer and found we preffered this music instead. We also felt that the Scream music was good however it didnt really build up any suspense for our audience. The other sounds we looked at and considered for our trailer were; Massive Attack - Tear Drop (Instrumental), and Massive Attack - Paradise Circus. We feel the theme song for 28 weeks later builds up suspense and also makes the trailer more scarier. We also preferred this sound on our trailer as we have several and fast shots withhin our trailer and we felt that the Scream music didnt really go with it. We feel this adds to the fast shots and again builds up suspense. The name of the song from 28 weeks later is 'In the house, in a heartbeat' by John Murphy.
28 Weeks Later Theme Song
Massive Attack - Teardrop (Instrumental)
Massive Attack - Paradise Circus
We have also moved a couple of shots around and added a few shots. We have repeated some of the same shot, of the main female character Ashely running to mess around with the time - of what is happening now and what did happen leading up until the end of the trailer. We did this in order for our audience to flick between the past and the present and also to emphasise on the fact that he ends up getting to Ashely. But also to show what happened with the other characters and show what happens to them in order for him to get to her.
We are still going to add a few more tone cards on a few shots for example "Empire - Best Horror Of 2011 ****" to add more effect and build up the suspense on the trailer.
